Command line switches

SuRun supports the following command line:
"SuRun [options] [<program> [parameters]]" to start <program> as Administrator.
options:
/BACKUP <file> backup "SuRun Settings" to <file>
/INSTALL Install SuRun unattended
/INSTALL <file> Install SuRun unattended and do "SuRun /RESTORE <file>"
/QUIET do not display an messages
/RESTORE <file> restore "SuRun Settings" from <file>
/RETPID return the process ID of the elevated process
/RUNAS <program> start <program> as different user
/SETUP start "SuRun Settings"
/SWITCHTO <User> Switch Desktop to the session of "User"
/SWITCHTO <Session> Switch Desktop to logon session [0,1,2...]
/UNINSTALL remove SuRun from the system
/WAIT wait until the elevated process exits
Below are some SuRun command lines for common Windows tasks:
Automatic Updates: "surun wuaucpl.cpl"
Computer Management: "surun compmgmt.msc"
Group Policy: "surun gpedit.msc"
Date and Time: "surun timedate.cpl"
Network Connections: "surun ncpa.cpl"
Security Center: "surun wscui.cpl"
Software: "surun appwiz.cpl"
Local Policy: "surun secpol.msc"
System Properties: "surun sysdm.cpl"
Some applications do not work with SuRun when started with the limited current
user account credentials. These must be started with the credentials of a real
Administrator account using "SuRun /RUNAS":
User accounts: "surun /runas nusrmgr.cpl"
Windows Update: "surun /runas wupdmgr.exe"
