"SuRun is not responding!" Then it says that HIPS software is installed. This is false. There is no antivirus, firewall, antispyware program of any kind installed. The only program installed is UltraVNC which runs at the system level. I never got this with v1.2.0.6

O/S: Windows XP Professional SP3
SuRun version: v1.2.0.9 Beta 8

The warning appears when going into Control Panel and then accessing SuRun settings.
I noticed that here too in my "virtual" domain.

The way SuRuns Watchdog works has changed since 1.2.0.6. It is more sensitive now.
In SuRun 1.2.0.6 the whole GUI could hang without the WatchDog ever showing up.

When starting SuRuns Settings, Users are enumerated to fill the drop down box on the user settings page.
In domains this takes some time, so the WatchDog comes up.

I just checked: In my mini domain I the watchdog shows up when I try to add a file for a user.
I don't see it when starting SuRun settings.

Anyway: I implemented a WatchDog reset into the routines that enumerate users, maybe that helps.
It will be available with SuRun 1.2.0.9beta9
