Subject: Update procedure?
Does updating SuRUN always require a reboot? Does the default update keep existing settings? If not, do I need to export and then restore the existing settings file through an update?

In Windows <6 (2000, XP, 2003) the system must be restarted after Installation/Update.
This is required because SuRunExt.Dll is injected into services.exe and a reboot is the only chance to unload/reload SuRunExt.
In Windows Vista/7 you just need to log off.

SuRun keeps all settings when updating.

Is there a command line update procedure so I could push updates silently? For the initial installs, did any command line flags or ini file settings change?

"InstallSuRun /INSTALL" started from a real administrator account will do the silent update.
"InstallSuRun /INSTALL<PathAndFileName>" will do an initial installation with settings from <PathAndFileName>.
